Danielle established Contrology Authentic Pilates in 2012, as Western Australia's first classical Pilates studio.

Danielle's Pilates education began in 1995 as a young dancer, her ballet training taking her to Sydney where she first met Grand Master Instructor Cynthia Lochard in 1999. After a 10-year dance career overseas, and obtaining her first Pilates certification in 2004, Danielle moved back to Sydney in 2009 to train with Cynthia full time. Her apprenticeship cemented her passion for Classical Pilates and motivated Danielle to travel and train with some of the world’s best Instructors. Danielle was honoured with a teacher training level for Romana's Pilates at the Romana’s Pilates conference in Chicago in 2014.

Danielle has since trained other Classical Pilates Instructors in Western Australia, and leads the training studio for Romana's Pilates International in WA. Under the guidance of her mentor Cynthia Lochard, Danielle is learning more about the “Art of Contrology" with each client and every hour she teaches. She is trusted by AFL athletes, sprinters, swimmers, professional dancers and actors to prepare their bodies for elite pursuits. But taking care of clients that need particular care and support is what Danielle does best. Her years of experience ensure she can keep them safe while improving their strength, mobility and coordination.

With 30 years of personal Pilates practice, 21 years of teaching experience and 11 years as a teacher trainer, Danielle is committed to educating the classical pilates community in Perth. Above all, her greatest reward is watching her clients progress. Witnessing how authentic Pilates changes their lives, how they move and feel, is what drives her to become a better instructor.
